Lori Buscaglia Joins WHEDA as Chief Communications Officer

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) today announced that Lori Buscaglia has joined its leadership team as Chief Communications Officer, a new position for the agency to implement strategic communications efforts.

In this role, Buscaglia will use her high-level creative marketing skills and experience to continue increasing access to housing for people across the state.

Buscaglia’s experience is varied, having served as a creative marketing executive adept on both client and agency sides, developing brand and marketing strategies and content to drive awareness, engagement, and sales in varying industries. Her past leadership roles include Creative Director at Duluth Trading Company, Marketing & Communications Director at ZEBRADOG Experiential Design Firm, and as an independent PR consultant.

“Lori has the depth of experience and the skills we need to advance our mission to ensure that all people in Wisconsin have a place to call home,” said Elmer Moore, Jr., WHEDA CEO and Executive Director. “We look forward to leveraging her creativity and strategic thinking to better engage with Wisconsin residents who need or want a safe, stable home.”

Buscaglia graduated from Columbia College in Chicago. A longtime resident of Madison, she enjoys kayaking, farmers markets, and live music.
